Greece’s party island bans music to fight COVID

Greece banned music in restaurants and bars and imposed a nighttime curfew with restricted movement on its popular holiday island of Mykonos on Saturday after a rise in new coronavirus infections there. Known as the party island of the super-rich, Mykonos is one of Greece’s most popular destinations, attracting more than a million visitors each summer, among them Hollywood stars, models and world-famous athletes. Following a “worrying” local outbreak, the Civil Protection Ministry said it was banning music on the island around the clock and would only allow movement between 1 a.m to 6 a.m to those going to and from work, or for health reasons. गुजरात में सवली में कुल 210 आधुनिक डिब्बे बनाए जाएंगे एल्सटॉम ने आरआरटीएस फेज़ 1 के दिल्ली-गाज़ियाबाद-मेरठ सेमी हाई-स्पीड रेल कॉरिडोर के लिए क्षेत्रीय सवारी व ट्रांज़िट ट्रेनों के निर्माण का काम शुरू कर दिया है। पिछले साल यानी मई 2020 में कंपनी के साथ इन ट्रेनों के 210 डिब्बों की डिज़ाइन, निर्माण व आपूर्ति के अलावा 15 सालों के लिए उनके विस्तृत रखरखाव का करार किया गया था। करार के मुताबिक, एल्सटॉम 30 क्षेत्रीय सवारी ट्रेनों की आपूर्ति करेगा, जिनमें से प्रत्येक में छह डिब्बे होंगे और 10 इंट्रासिटी मास ट्रांज़िट ट्रेनों में से प्रत्येक तीन डिब्बों वाली होगी। ये आरआरटीएस ट्रेनें सौ फीसदी स्वदेश निर्मित होंगी और सवली (गुजरात) में एल्सटॉम की फैक्टरी में बनाई जाएंगी, जिनमें 80 फीसदी से ज्यादा जरूरतें स्थानीय स्तर पर पूरी की जाएंगी है। इस फैक्टरी में बोगियां, डिब्बों का ढांचा तो बनेगा ही...
