World’s largest art museum at Louvre is open again

One of world’s most visited museums reopened to the public on Monday three and a half months of COVID-19 lockdown. France’s iconic Louvre Museum re-opened, without lengthy queues of visitors as before the coronavirus pandemic. Some 7,000 reservations have been made for the opening day while before the pandemic the museum had around 30,000 visitors each day, Jean-Luc Martinez, President-Director of Louvre, said. For those who arrived for a visit, mask-wearing is compulsory. Slots of 500 visitors every half hour have been set up to comply with health rules. कोरोना महामारी के कारण सौ दिन तक बंद रहने के बाद देश के सभी एएसआई संरक्षित स्मारक सोमवार, 6 जुलाई से आम लोगों के लिए खोल दिए गए। देशभर में एएसआई के तहत 3,000 से ज्यादा स्मारक हैं जिनमें दिल्ली का लाल किला, कुतुब मीनार, खजुराहो के मंदिर व सांची का स्तूप शामिल है। पहले ताजमहल व फतेहपुर सीकरी को भी आज ही से खुल जाना था लेकिन आगरा में कोविड-19 के 55 नए मामले रविवार को आने के बाद प्रशासन ने फिलहाल इन दोनों को नहीं खोलने का फैसला किया। आगरा में इस समय 71 कंटेनमेंट जोन हैं। एएसआई के संरक्षण में आने वाले 3,691 स्मारक व पुरातत्व स्थान 17 मार्च से बंद हैं। पिछले महीने केंद्रीय संस्कृति मंत्रालय ने 8 जून से 820 उन एएसआई संरक्षित स्मारकों को खोलने की मंजूरी दे दी थी जिनका इस्तेमाल पूजा-इबादत में होता था। लिहाजा, ताजमहल जहां बंद है, उसके एक सिरे पर स्थित फतेहपुरी मसजिद और दूसरे सिरे पर स्थित का...

ग्लोबल वार्मिंग की हकीकत कई रूप में सामने आ रही है। हर साल तापमान के नए रिकॉर्ड बन रहे हैं। रूस में दुनिया की वे तमाम सबसे ठंडी जगहें हैं जहां लोग रहते-बसते हैं। ऐसे देश में साल 2020 के पहले छह महीने अब तक के, यानी जब से मौसम के आंकड़े रखे जाने शुरू हुए तब से लेकर अब तक के, सबसे गर्म छह महीने रहे हैं। रूस के नेशनल हाइड्रोमीटियोरोलोजिकल सेंटर के साइंटिफिक डायरेक्टर रोमन विलफेंद का कहना है, “मौसम विज्ञान के 130 साल क इतिहास में यानी 1891 के बाद से, जब से उपकरणों की मदद से मौसम के आंकड़े रखे जाने लगे, साल 2020 के पहले छह महीनों में रूस में औसत तापमान सबसे ज्यादा रहा।” उनका कहना था कि यह असामान्य रूप से गर्म सर्दियों के महीनों की वजह से हुआ। उन्होंने बताया कि जनवरी में तापमान औसत रूप से सामान्य से 10 से 11 डिग्री सेल्शियस ज्यादा रहा। विलफेंड ने बताया कि पिछले महीने रूस में साल के पहले छह म...

कोविड-19 के कारण सूबे में सैलानियों के प्रवेश पर रोक लगाने के करीब साढ़े तीन महीने बाद हिमाचल सरकार ने शनिवार से पर्यटकों समेत हर किसी के लिए प्रदेश की सीमाएं फिर से खोल दी हैं। अनलॉक 2.0 की प्रक्रिया के तहत लोगों की आवाजाही में छूट देने की प्रक्रिया में अब कोई भी व्यक्ति बिना ई-पास के सूबे में प्रवेश कर सकता है। उन्हें केवल सरकार के कोविड ई-पास सॉफ्टवेयर (covid19epass.hp.gov.in) में 48 घंटे पहले अपना रजिस्ट्रेशन कराना होगा। अब जिला उपायुक्तों से पहले मंजूरी लेना जरूरी नहीं है। पर्यटकों को सशर्त एंट्री मिलेगी। उन्हें होटल में कम से कम पांच दिन की बुकिंग पहले से करानी होगी। साथ ही राज्य में प्रवेश करने से पहले और अधिकतम 72 घंटे के दरम्यान हुई कोरोना जांच में रिपोर्ट निगेटिव होनी चाहिए। जांच आईसीएमआर से मान्यता प्राप्त किसी लैबोरेटरी से ही होनी चाहिए। राज्य के प्रमुख सचिव राजस्व ओंका...
