Ras Al Khaimah is one of seven emirates which together comprise the federation of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It was the last one to join and is claimed to be on top as emerging tourist destination in the GULF.

INDIAN CONNECTION
Indian cuisine is equally popular in Ras-Al- Khaimah, with Biryani among the most favoured. However, whereas average tourist stay here is 5-8 nights, Indians stay here just for 2-3 nights on average. Indian expats in Gulf play a major role in popularising this spot among Indian tourists.
