Wafaifo Resort Hoi An opens Royal Garden, a luxury enclave within the resort

Wafaifo Resort Hoi An has announced the opening of its much-anticipated Royal Garden – Thượng Uyển, a new luxury enclave within the resort that blends the timeless beauty of Vietnamese royal heritage with contemporary design and exclusive hospitality.

Guests entering the Royal Garden are welcomed into a serene environment of winding stone paths, lotus ponds, and lantern-lit courtyards that echo the traditions of Hoi An’s ancient gardens. The enclave features 16 suites across three distinctive categories: the Big Suite, the Bigger Suite, and the expansive Seagull Suite, the largest of the collection.

The Seagull Suite is a true private sanctuary, complete with its own infrared sauna, steam facilities, and clawfoot bathtub. All suites offer panoramic garden views, refined detailing, and their own in-room private bar with a fully stocked wine fridge, allowing guests to enjoy a personalised luxury experience.

Opening soon, the next phase of Royal Garden will unveil the Verita Health VIP Longevity Sanctuary, the most advanced centre of its kind in Central Vietnam. Far more than a spa, it combines cutting-edge longevity science with specialised recovery therapies for athletes and active travellers. Signature treatments include hyperbaric oxygen chambers, floatation therapy, advanced IV infusions (including NAD+), infrared sauna, and ice bath rituals. In addition, advanced cellular rejuvenation options such as NK cell therapy and stem cell therapy will be available, positioning the centre at the forefront of scientific longevity and recovery care.

Complementing the accommodation and wellness journey will be Coi Nguon Restaurant, where every dish is designed as a celebration of Hoi An’s land and waters. The restaurant follows a farm-to-table philosophy, sourcing exclusively from the Hoi An area and the organic Tra Que Village. Menus highlight authentic flavours such as snails gathered from rice paddies and a deconstructed version of the iconic cao lầu noodle dish — each plate a creative yet respectful homage to Hoi An’s culinary heritage. Presented with artistry, every meal becomes both a discovery and a memory.

“Royal Garden represents our vision of what a modern sanctuary can be in Vietnam,” said Pieter van der Hoeven, Managing Director of Wafaifo Resort Hoi An. “We are opening our first suites now, with the wellness centre and dining experiences following soon. This is a carefully staged journey where heritage, design, and longevity come together to create a truly unique retreat.”
