Most iconic locations of the European Capital will be showcased
Bright Brussels Festival returns from 12 to 15 February 2026 to once again transform the European capital in the depths of winter. The programme includes a magical journey through the historic centre of Brussels, enhanced by nearly twenty original art installations from Belgium and abroad. For its tenth edition, the festival will feature a culinary programme with Bright Brussels Food.
A new route through the Royal Quarter to the centre
Some of Brussels’ most iconic locations will be showcased during the festival. Brussels Park and Mont des Arts will be transformed by dazzling works of art. Place Royale – recently renovated by Beliris – will be resplendent and the MIM and its neighbours will sparkle under new lighting designed by Beliris. Not to mention the projection mapping that will cover the facade of La Monnaie opera house, evoking its captivating musical universe.

New: Bright Brussels Food
Exploring the streets of the capital requires a certain amount of effort, which deserves some comfort. That’s why, this year, Bright Brussels Festival is offering an original culinary programme. On the menu is a local farmers’ market selling a wealth of Brussels’ produce. The festival will also bring together in a dedicated. village a number of Brussels chefs specialising in, among other things, shrimp croquettes. The public will be able to take a break from their walk and savour this much coveted speciality. This new culinary offer is sure to delight even the most discerning of palates.
Bright Brussels Kids
The festival offers activities dedicated to children and this year will be no different. Younger visitors will enjoy entertainment tailored to their age group, ensuring that they too can enjoy the festival to the full.

A wealth of activities
With illuminations, museum activities and guided tours, visitors of all ages will be spoilt for choice, discovering the streets of the capital by night for a truly multi-sensory experience.
