The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), which represents the global Travel & Tourism private sector, has announced that its highly anticipated 21st Global Summit will take place in Manila, Philippines, from 14-16 March 2022.
WTTC’s annual Global Summit is the most influential Travel & Tourism event in the calendar, and next year, industry leaders will gather with key government representatives to continue aligning efforts to support the sector’s recovery and move beyond to a safer, more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable future.
Following its hugely successful event in Cancun Mexico in April this year, the Summit will be hosted in Metro Manila in-person, with a global audience joining virtually.
Hundreds of CEOs, business leaders and tourism ministers gathered in Cancun for the first time in nearly a year – with thousands more participating virtually – in the hybrid event. That was the second major meeting this year between the two sectors, since the private sector was invited to attend an historic meeting of G20 tourism ministers for the first time.
