Anantara Chiang Mai Resort has unveiled its new afternoon tea service, an ode to the English ritual of refinement and enjoyment, held daily in the gardens of the former British consulate on the banks of the Ping River. The ritual of afternoon tea began among the English aristocracy in the 1800s. It was a small indulgence, an occasion to look forward to, to dress up for, and to share with friends.
