The recent conclusion of The Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) in Chennai, India marked yet another successful event, characterized by its fruitful business meetings and insightful discussions. Chennai, as one of India’s four metropolitan cities and a vibrant hub for tourism, serves as the host city for TTF, the largest regional travel tradeshow in the Southern circuit, strategically timed right before the summer holidays.
From March 15th to 17th, TTF Chennai 2024 took place in the vibrant state of Tamil Nadu. The event brought together a diverse range of exhibitors, industry professionals, and travel enthusiasts for three days of networking, collaboration, and exploration.
With over 160 exhibitors, including domestic and international travel brands, TTF Chennai 2024, an integral part of the TTF series, offered a platform for meaningful engagement and partnerships. The 3-day event included dedicated B2B sessions during the initial 1.5 days (trade only) followed by 1.5 days open to both B2B and B2C visitors. For general visitors and holiday-seekers, TTF Chennai provided an unparalleled platform to discover new and emerging destinations, and avail of exciting deals and packages for their upcoming summer vacations.
Over three days, more than 3000+ travel trade visitors and enthusiasts explored the show floor.
During the event, attendees were immersed in a variety of offerings, especially from the Host State of Tamil Nadu. With full support from the state and its 14 co-participants, visitors experienced impressive displays of Tamil Nadu’s breathtaking landscapes, promoting a deep sense of engagement and fostering lasting connections. With numerous captivating tourist destinations within the state, Tamil Nadu ranks among India’s top destinations. Like always, the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India maintained a prominent presence at the event and highlighted their ongoing initiatives.
Representatives from various other Indian states and international destinations presented their unique offerings, encouraging cross-cultural exchange and boosting economic and social development.
Several other State Tourism Boards including Bihar, Odisha, Uttarakhand, Kerala, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Delhi, Gujarat, Jharkhand, and Telangana presented their diverse attractions with large pavilions, accompanied by a significant representation of private hoteliers and tour operators. TTF Chennai also witnessed enthusiastic participation from private sector entities across India and abroad. Countries represented at the show included Nepal, Thailand.
The show also had participation from reputed outbound and domestic operators like SOTC Travel Ltd., Riya Travels, The Nest Luxury Resorts, Fly24Hrs Holiday, Ramoji Film City, STIC Travel Group and many more.
The exhibitors represented various segments including diverse businesses, travel agents, tour operators, hospitality chains, destination management companies (DMCs), and tourist attractions.

The 3-day event brought together a significant turnout from the travel trade fraternity from Southern India, including new and established players. The TTF series – India’s oldest and largest travel trade show network, is focused on providing the most effective marketing opportunities to promote tourism in the major travel markets in India. In addition to Chennai, the event is organised in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Patna.
