Ultimate revitalisation in a uniquely serene destination

Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel promises “Convent Wellness Weeks with Beatrice”

Visiting practitioner Beatrice Adochitei immerses guests and visitors in transformative wellness experiences with a convent backdrop

Set in a 13th-century Capuchin monastery built into the cliffside, Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel invites guests to disconnect from the world and immerse in convent life in a charming historic location. The unique hotel offers a tranquil monastic retreat with luxurious accommodations in former monks’ quarters, refreshing swims and workouts overlooking the Mediterranean, and indulgent spa and dining experiences inspired by Amalfi.

In celebration and recognition of the importance of self-care, relaxation and reinvigoration, the hotel has announced its upcoming Convent Wellness Weeks with Beatrice from 4 to 15 May – an invitation for guests and visitors to reconnect and rebalance with unique experiences led by visiting practitioner Beatrice Adochitei.

An expert in multiple movement and healing modalities, including Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin and Restorative Yoga, Myofascial Release, Yoga Nidra, Sound Healing, and Mat Pilates, Beatrice also specialises in guided meditation and breathwork techniques that foster deep relaxation. She brings her immersive and transformative approach to Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel, creating a multi-sensory experience for Convent Wellness Weeks, which include a selection of activities and treatments designed to reconnect guests and visitors with nature and their authentic selves.

In-house guests can take part in complimentary daily group sessions of yoga, mat pilates and sound healing. Guests seeking more personalised attention and expertise from Beatrice can book private individual sessions of yoga suited to all abilities, sound healing, mat pilates and mindfulness.

Ideal for external visitors, the Convent Wellness Day Package includes a detox welcome drink, a yoga or pilates session with sound healing, a relaxing body treatment at Anantara Spa and lunch at La Locanda della Canonica. Finally, for optimal holistic revitalisation, the Convent Wellness Immersion Package includes a two-night stay at the hotel, during which guests will enjoy a detox welcome drink, a daily healthy breakfast, one yoga session and one pilates session (both with sound healing), a healthy grill dinner at La Locanda della Canonica and a relaxing body treatment at Anantara Spa.

General Manager Estelle Vassallo says, “We are very excited to welcome guests and visitors at this very special time. Wellness is at the heart of our offering here, and these dedicated wellness experiences are aimed at travellers seeking to reboot and regenerate their mind, body and soul while creating unforgettable memories in this historic place.

While a selection of the Convent Wellness Weeks sessions will take place amid the hotel’s historic cloister and terraces, the relaxing treatments will be delivered at Anantara Spa. Set over 125 square metres, the travertine-clad spa shares the hotel’s atmosphere of tranquillity and features a hammam, emotional shower, two couple’s treatment rooms with sauna and steam room, as well as areas dedicated to relaxation. Locally inspired signature treatments include the “Anantara Citrus Massage Experience”, which incorporates Amalfi lemon essential oils, and the “Convento di Amalfi Journey”, featuring a scrub followed by a lemon aromatherapy massage. Additional products are provided by local supplier La Selva di Positano.

Above the famous Walk of the Monks, with the Mediterranean sparkling beyond, guests can further reinvigorate with an al fresco workout at the panoramic, outdoor gym, which is equipped with the latest Technogym equipment and cooled by lemon-scented breezes.

Convent Wellness Weeks with Beatrice take place at Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel from 4 to 15 May 2025.
