Anantara Santorini Abu Dhabi hosts Michelin-Starred chef Louis Anjos
This January, Minor Hotels’ Anantara Santorini Abu Dhabi Retreat will host its first-ever Michelin-star dining event, featuring the culinary artistry of renowned Chef Louis Anjos. Over three extraordinary evenings, from 12 to 14 January, guests will embark on a gastronomic journey at Thalassa, where the allure of the Arabian Gulf meets Greek-inspired elegance.
Guests will savour an exclusive five-course menu expertly crafted by Chef Louis Anjos, celebrated for his innovative approach to Portuguese cuisine and his respect for traditional flavours. Signature dishes, such as the Caviar-Kissed Tuna & Oyster, layered with Oscietra caviar and cucumber, and the Lobster Royale, accented with green apple and galanga infusion, showcase Chef Louis’ unique style, blending timeless recipes with contemporary flair.
Chef Louis Anjos has built a remarkable career, earning accolades such as Chef of the Year 2012 and leading Michelin-starred establishments, including Bon Bon and Al Sud. Known for his passion for Portuguese culinary heritage and seasonal ingredients, Chef Louis has designed a menu that reflects his rich culinary journey and exceptional expertise.

Nestled along the serene coastline of Ghantoot, halfway between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, Anantara Santorini Abu Dhabi Retreat is an adults-only haven inspired by the charm of the Greek Islands. Renowned for its elegant accommodations with sweeping sea views, the retreat provides the perfect setting for romantic getaways and intimate escapes. Alongside its Mediterranean and Middle Eastern culinary offerings, the resort features bespoke experiences such as yoga, snorkelling, and bespoke dining events, ensuring every visit is unforgettable.
The Michelin Dinner by the Sea with Chef Louis Anjos will take place on 12, 13, and 14 January 2025, at Thalassa. Seating is available in two time slots each evening: 6:00 pm–8:00 pm and 8:30 pm–10:30 pm. Prices start from AED 2,500 per couple for the food-only menu, with the option to upgrade and choose from a curated selection of wine pairings. Only 10 couples per slot are available per dinner.
