Tivoli La Caleta Resort is now open at Costa Adeje in Tenerife
Making its debut in Spain, Tivoli Hotels & Resorts is pleased to announce the opening of Tivoli La Caleta Tenerife Resort, bringing the brand’s timeless glamour to the Canary Islands. Following extensive renovations, Tivoli La Caleta opens its doors, welcoming guests with elegantly renovated guest rooms and suites, exciting dining concepts and a world-class spa, all with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and the hotel’s beautiful, landscaped gardens.
Located on southern Tenerife’s picturesque coast, nestled between the mountains and the Atlantic’s deep blue, Tivoli La Caleta offers an idyllic hideaway, just 15 minutes’ drive from Tenerife South International Airport, with direct access to the 12 km coastline promenade connecting the village of La Caleta to the town of Los Cristianos.
The five-star property offers 284 rooms including 20 suites, elegantly decorated with woods and natural fibres, unveiling a colour palette that goes from beige and brown to dark orange. Interiors feature designer furniture, local art and high-tech comforts, creating a chic and calming place to relax and unwind, overlooking the sea, the tropical gardens and the swimming pools. Suite guests enjoy a VIP a la carte breakfast and a selection of complimentary delights by the pool, at La Caleta Lounge, throughout the day.
The resort was designed by the award-winning architect Melvin Villarroel, whose work perfectly combines nature and architecture, bringing to Tenerife the earthy terracotta tones of exotic places, but also introducing its maze of organic detail – always infused with the deep green of nature from the 18,000 square metres of subtropical garden. The generous outside area also provides indulgent sunbathing spaces around the three newly refurbished swimming pools, all heated, the largest with salt water and one of which is adults-only.
Dining at Tivoli La Caleta is a celebration of worldwide gastronomy with offerings carefully curated by Olivier da Costa, the well-known Portuguese chefpreneur currently with 26 restaurants open around the world in destinations from São Paulo to Lisbon and from Rome to Bangkok. The hotel will feature three distinctive restaurants: Seen Beach Club with its bold flavours, exotic cocktails, and vibrant seafront setting; Yakuza which specialises in sushi ranging from the most traditional to the most inventive and creative combinations; and Guilty, presenting an indulgent experience in a dynamic and cosmopolitan space, near the main pool.
Seen Beach Club by Olivier is the newest and most exclusive beach club in Costa Adeje, a meeting point under the sun, and a place to relax, unwind and enjoy with the Atlantic Ocean as the backdrop. The menu is a fusion of flavours including classics such as Seen Tacos or the Octopus Carpaccio, a wide selection of meats, and also local flavours with the best fish of the Canary Islands. A menu of exotic and creative cocktails is served throughout the day.
Yakuza by Olivier presents exclusive creations that surprise with their fusion of East and West. Highlights from the menu include the Kobe Gunkan with wagyu, foie gras, confit onion and teriyaki, or the Kyuri Maki with salmon, tuna, anchovies and shrimp in sweet cucumber leaves.
Guilty by Olivier presents an informal and flavourful menu in a fun and cool atmosphere packed with unexpected delights. The best pizza, pasta and hamburgers are served here, where food and fun are side by side, from lunch to dinner. The fourth restaurant is Gusto where breakfast is served daily and at night a lavish buffet with the world’s favourite cuisines.
Guests can also enjoy the facilities of all four bars around the property. Alma Cocktail Bar, with an indoor and outdoor area, has a selection of the best Spanish wines and cocktails. At El Clásico Sports Bar there is always something happening, either live games or lively discussions on the latest matches, together with a menu of drinks and bites. For an afternoon special treat there is a cosy tea room – the Suite & Tea, with the finest loose-leaf teas from around the world, paired with beautifully crafted macarons and patisserie. A special afternoon tea is available with Champagne pairing and a tasting of chocolates. For refreshment between laps or moments in the sun, the Guilty pool bar offers cool respite with a menu of milkshakes, fruit smoothies, light snacks and icy cocktails.
To be launched next March, the Anantara Spa will have 1,200 square metres of outdoor and indoor facilities, with 10 treatment rooms, a vitality indoor pool, sauna, steam bath and an ice igloo to refresh and rejuvenate. Further reinvigoration awaits at both the indoor and outdoor areas of Tivoli Shape, with professional World Padel Tour courts and top-of-the-range Technogym equipment in the gym for efficient workouts.
With over 890 square metres of flexible meeting spaces with ocean views, the resort offers spectacular settings and venues for all types of events – from VIP dinners and weddings, to product launches and large scale conferences.
Tivoli La Caleta Tenerife Resort has the perfect location to discover the historical and natural heritage of the Canary Islands. For those keen to explore beyond the resort, there is a wealth of cultural and natural discoveries, from experiencing the UNESCO World Heritage old town of La Laguna to embarking on outdoor island adventures, like whale watching or star gazing at the Teide mount.
With a journey that dates back to 1933 in Lisbon, Portugal, Tivoli Hotels & Resorts stands out for its cultural heritage and authentic connection to each destination.
