Hoysala Temples in Karnataka now a UNESCO World Heritage site

The Sacred Ensembles of Hoysalyas in Karnataka have now become India’s 42nd inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage List! The site includes three temple complexes dating from the 12th to 13th centuries built during the Hoysala Kingdom in southern India.
