Diljit Dosanjh showcases Czechia to millions of Fans
Diljit, a global music and film star, used a break in his AURA World Tour 2026 schedule to visit Prague and Northern Bohemia. At the invitation of the Czech Tourism Authority – CzechTourism, he swapped sold-out arenas across Europe for a sandstone rock town, a vintage car and the deck of a boat. The videos and posts he and his team shared on Instagram have already generated more than 10 million views and the number continues to grow.
From Coachella to Czechia
Diljit is one of the biggest stars in contemporary South Asian pop culture. The Indian singer and actor has made a name for himself on the Punjabi music scene as well as in Bollywood. His songs have racked up nine billion streams, and he has more than 26 million followers on Instagram. In 2023, he became the first artist to perform an entire set in Punjabi at the Coachella Festival.
The CzechTourism agency used the European leg of his tour to promote the country in India and other international markets. The program combined Prague with the natural beauty of Northern Bohemia and local cuisine. This gave Diljit the opportunity to explore the country at his own pace and showcase it to his fans through his own eyes.
Narnia on the Way to Prague
After the Berlin concert, Diljit first headed to the Tisá Walls. This impressive rock formation is one of the most striking natural sites in northern Bohemia, and filmmakers also used it while shooting the movie The Chronicles of Narnia.
He then continued on to Prague and explored the capital from several different perspectives. He toured the historic center while riding in a vintage car and admired the panorama on a boat cruise along the Vltava River, and stopped at Charles Bridge and the Lennon Wall. He also sampled Czech cuisine.
Resonance far beyond India’s borders
The videos and posts that Diljit and his team shared on Instagram have surpassed 10 million views, and the number continues to grow. It’s not just a series of attractive shots, but a personal travel story that shows fans Czechia through the eyes of one of the most prominent stars of today’s music and film scene.

Diljit’s visit highlighted one of Czechia’s great strengths: during a single trip, international visitors can easily combine a world-famous metropolis with nature, active experiences, and local cuisine. Prague thus serves as a natural gateway to exploring other regions of the country.
