MP tourism to showcase monsoon tourism through influencers

The wait is over and Madhya Pradesh tourism wants to announce it in big way. It has launched a campaign “#IntezaarKhatamHua” to build the confidence and trust amongst the travellers and to keep the audience engaged during the monsoon season by featuring the major monsoon tourism attractions of the destinations like Amarkantak, Panchmarhi, Mandu, Orchha, Tamia, Bhedaghat, and all its National Parks. In the process it also wants to promote state as next big roadtrip and caravan tourism destination.

Shiva temple at Bhojpur is a big draw

Madhya Pradesh already has some popular monsoon destinations like Mandu and Pachmarhi and this time around after reopening the state borders for domestic tourists in post-COVID-19 lockdown situations, it has also kept buffer zones of all its national parks open, which normally are kept closed every year during the monsoon season. The new campaign is the extension of all these efforts.

Five-six days caravan road trips have been prepared from Bhopal and Indore, wherein two team of travel influencers will visit the various destinations of Madhya Pradesh as per the travel itinerary designed to promote the destinations during monsoon. Itinerary starting from Bhopal will cover Bhopal, Amargarh falls, Bhimbetka, Tawa, Madai, Pachmarhi, Tamia, Patalkot, Pench and from Indore the destinations covered will be Indore, Patalpani, Choral Dam, Jam Gate, Vanchu Point, Janapav, Mandu, Maheshwar, Omkareshwar, Sailani. The influencers will travel to these destinations in a caravan of Madhya Pradesh Tourism, so that they can have a comfortable journey while enjoying the enchanting landscapes of the State.

Khajuraho is popular among international tourists as well

The trip will be documented as travelogues by influencers. They will post their individual blogs through their pages. A compiled film of influencers will be released on the MP Tourism social media handles. So, while throughout their trip across the state, influencers will be posting their travelogues, they themselves will be recorded carrying #IntezaarKhatamHua placards to be showcased on the MP Tourism social media pages. After publishing posts on their blogs, the influencers will also be creating a short video on “My Top 5 moments from the Heart of Incredible India” – where they will recount their top five moments of the trip in a narration, mixing it with images and video clips.

Mandu is one of the most popular monsoon destinations

MP Tourism is looking forward to boost morale and bring back the confidence in the tourism sector. It also wants tourists to be aware that all tourist destinations of Madhya Pradesh are fully prepared and ready to welcome the domestic tourists back. Madhya Pradesh is also offering tour packages to the tourists which are specially designed keeping in mind all safety and health protocols during pandemic. In order to facilitate smooth travel, the board has also come up with weekend and package trips from adjoining cities.

Madhya Pradesh offers an assortment of attractions to everyone who loves to travel. It is the state with the forest area cover of approx. 77,700 sq.kms (Approx ¼ of the total land area) filled with sal trees & bamboos. It has numerous wildlife hotspots with 11 national parks & 24 wildlife sanctuaries including some lesser known Ratapani Wildlife Sanctuary and Chambal Ghadiyal Sanctuary. The UNESCO World Heritage sites at Khajuraho, Bhimbetka & Sanchi are the iconic sites in the state.

Pachmarhi is a popular hill station for North Indians

Madhya Pradesh is home to two Jyotirlingas Mahakaleshwar and Omkareshwar. Burhanpur, Bhopal, Gwalior and Mandu are some of its beautiful architectural sites, whereas lndrasagar, Gandhi sagar, Tawa and Bargi are the spellbinding water bodies. Cultural events like Khajuraho Dance Festival, Mandu Festival, Orchha Cultural Festival, Tansen Festival are some of the annual tourism promotional festivals to attract tourists from all walks of life. Since more than four decades Madhya Pradesh Tourism is facilitating high standard of travel services for travellers.
